Accessibility
We believe private, effortless communication should be available to everyone. Here's our approach to accessibility.
Last updated: July 23, 2026
1.Our commitment
Communication is for everyone, and so is XWave. We're committed to making our app and website usable by as many people as possible, including people who rely on assistive technologies such as screen readers, keyboard navigation, and system accessibility settings.
2.Standards we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA as a baseline for our website, and we apply the same spirit to our mobile apps by following the platform accessibility guidelines for iOS and Android.
3.What we work on
Accessibility is an ongoing practice. Areas we focus on include:
- Clear, readable typography and sufficient color contrast.
- Full keyboard navigation and visible focus states.
- Semantic structure and labels for assistive technologies.
- Respecting system settings like larger text and reduced motion.
- Descriptive text for meaningful images and controls.
4.Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is never “done.” We continue to test, learn, and improve, and we welcome the input of the people who use XWave to help us do better.
5.Feedback
If you encounter an accessibility barrier in XWave, please tell us at hello@thexwave.com. Your feedback helps us make XWave better for everyone, and we take it seriously.
